John was appointed in 2010 by MCECD’s principal service provider, AT&T.  Mr. Young has 34 years’ experience in the Telecommunications Field and has been with AT&T since 1996.

He currently is a Manager with Network Services in the Business Services Department where he manages a team of Technicians and Engineers who Install and maintain Business Customers data and voice equipment. His team is responsible for installation and maintenance of 9-1-1 equipment at five 9-1-1 districts in the greater Houston area as well.

John also serves as Vice President on the Board for Montgomery County MUD District 15.
